Exenatide and other new therapies service
There are many new therapies being developed for the treatment of diabetes. Some of these treatments are highly specialised and are best initiated in a hospital environment.
The hospital teams keep abreast of new developments and introduce these into the clinical service as and when these become appropriate. The aim is to provide the best and most up-to-date treatment for patients. This also allows the introduction of new treatments in a carefully controlled and safe environment where they can be properly delivered and assessed.
