King's children/young persons service

The King’s College Hospital Paediatric Diabetes Team offers age-banded clinic appointments including joint transition clinics with the Adult Diabetes Service at King’s. The Team is made up of a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist, a Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in diabetes, two paediatric diabetes specialist nurses and a diabetes specialist dietitian. The team also work with Guy’s and St Thomas’ Diabetes Unit and the King’s Youth Worker to provide accessible, informative and enjoyable days both for young people with diabetes and younger age groups with increasing success.
