Intensive insulin therapy

Intensive Insulin Therapy is a post-qualification course for healthcare professionals which is provided by King’s College London, a university based in central London.

The course is for healthcare professionals who work in clinical teams that are either developing or have developed intensive insulin or pump therapy programmes, and is suitable for consultant diabetologists, diabetes specialist physicians in training, experienced diabetes specialist nurses, dietitians with a specialist interest in intensive insulin, and GPs who are involved in the management of type 1 diabetes.

The course is taught using computer-based distance learning, together with 3 college-based study days spread out over one term. Because the course has an e-learning component, students will need access to a networked computer and be proficient in its use.

For more information on this course, contact Dr Angus Forbes at King’s College London, or download the Intensive Insulin Therapy Flyer (in pdf format)
