Diabetes: essentials for primary care

Diabetes: essentials for primary care is a 2 day non-accredited course which aims to provide participants with a greater understanding of diabetes knowledge and skills necessary for working in the community and primary care.

This course will be beneficial to clinicians who would like to gain or refresh a comprehensive understanding of diabetes, such as, GPs, practice and community nurses, podiatrists, community pharmacists, dieticians, health care assistants experienced in diabetes care and posts in chronic disease.

The Diabetes: essentials for primary care course will provide an excellent basis to develop a baseline understanding in diabetes before undertaking accredited diabetes courses such as the five day distance learning course, Diabetes in Primary Care
