DESMOND Foundation

The DESMOND Foundation programme is now available in Lambeth.

The programme is for people who have had type 2 diabetes for longer than 12 months. It is a course that is designed to meet the needs of those who have been living with established diabetes. The components of the course are similar to DESMOND training for those with newly diagnosed diabetes. In addition there is discussion about the different medications for diabetes. This includes insulin treatment and the management of low glucose levels (or hypoglycaemia).
